After entering 12 text messages in the messages editor (0-11), entering the 13th message results in a copyright symbol, a row of question marks, or similar visual "garbage". The problem seems to arise when there are about 27005 memory bytes free or less. The bug is related to version 4.5. The last game I developed with AGD, Cronopios y Famas, was made with version 4.3, which did not have this bug (the game features a lot of text).

Something is confusing it, but I'm not sure what!
If you email me a snapshot at a point just before the corruption occurs I can take a look to see what might be causing the problem.

All right Jonathan, I just sent you an email with a Z80 snapshot file attached, precisely at the point where inserting another text message makes the bug appear.

Upon investigation, it seems that entering several messages without returning to the main menu can do this. There will be a fix soon, but for now try not to enter more than a couple of messages before returning to the main menu.
I'll have to check the CPC version, but I should imagine that it will suffer from the same bug.

Damn I wish I'd known this - I've corrupted my game (Spectrum) with this bug. I entered a load of text, never noticed any issues. But now when I try to go to the font editor screen it crashes (or goes to the block editor). Everything else seems to be running ok though, so I don't know. I also created a new room which used the text I added and the text has corrupt spaces (which is why I tried to go back to the font editor). I just can't use any messages with spaces in them.
