Will have to make sure the CPC version is uploaded to the Spanglefish site when it's next updated, those SendSpace links don't last very long.
With respect to solid sprites, I'm sure someone has written some code for pushable blocks on the Spectrum version and the code for the CPC version will be exactly the same. In fact, there are lots of good code examples on the Spectrum which you might want to borrow for the CPC. Most of the finished AGD games can be loaded into the utility so you can see how they are put together.
I've written some pushable blocks example code for the forthcoming PC version although the code is slightly different as there's a lot of new functionality.
Check the documentation, I think there's a keyboard option for the CPC.
