Hi guys)
One can use STAR X command to move starfield horizontally or vertically, but how about appearing the whole screen of stars at once?
I tried Game Initialize and other events, yetRepeat 255 STAR 1 Endrepeat doesn't work even after ReDraw... How come?
Also I'm a bit at a loss attempting to colourize simulated fireworks via EXPLODE N, any ideas?

Hi nra, I cannot really say anything about the STAR command since I never used it. I guess you should put it in the Main Loop 1 event anyway, because everything you put into Game Initialisation is only executed before the start of the game proper, and STAR needs to be continuously recalled. But I can tell you the EXPLODE particles just take the INK of the blocks they pass through. Play Seto Taisho Vs Yokai and see it by yourself when Seto "dies".

Thank you, Alessandro. I played the game (btw nice work and cool weapon trick), but didn't load it in AGD.
A wild guess is Jonathan used SPECIALIZATION to save some memory using the same buffer updated in the main game loops. Though it may explain a thing, I would prefer a modular approach, however, adding only used features. Meanwhile there's either a flag/variable sacrifice, or an external/undocumented routine, perhaps.

There probably ought to be a way to instantly populate a starfield, remind me to add something to MPAGD.
