Hi Jonathan do you think it is possible to put two colours on the sprites? I mean to have half in one ink colour and the other half in another ink colour (other than havig two spites side by side , which doesn't work realy well)? also: is it oossible to change the paper colour of a sprite?

The only way to give a sprite 2 colours would be to use 2 SPRITEINK commands and temporarily change the coordinates by the required number of pixels for one of them. For example:
SPRITEINK 6 ADD 8 TO Y SPRITEINK 5 SUBTRACT 8 FROM Y
although this would also set attributes outside the range of the sprite.
There is an option to change the SPRITEINK mask, so the command sets just INK, or affects BRIGHT and/or FLASH too. If you've redefined the ULA+ palette you can change the background colour in that way.
If you want to do more you'll have to hack AGD. In version 4.1 if you POKE 27690,191 then go to the miscellaneous menu and press I to change the mask to 255 you can then use SPRITEINK to set the attribute value in its entirity - INK, PAPER, BRIGHT and FLASH.
