Can somebody tell me what is the correct sintax for these commands? I tried "If Fodder..." and "if water" but they are detected as errors ...

Sorry, but where is the part in which you say what happens if you sprite collides with a water block, in the code? I can see that if you are on the water block you will float, but is there any way to detect that ? just like you can detect if you are on a dealdy block by writing: "if deadly..."
in other words, is there any way to say:
"if (your player sprite is on the ) water let a =1 else let a=0 endif"

But why? If the sprite is in contact with the water block, it will be natural in the water, then what conditions? (enough that there is custom, deadly) ps. Maybe conditions there. Jonathan knows better ...

THe point is to be able to control some event based on the fact that the player (or the enemy) is hitting a certain block, just like when they hit on the deadly or custom block
this would add to the number of things that can happen
(eg if the player or the enemy hit the water block, its behaviour/image could be changed accordingly)
