Hi, I started to make a game, and it seems I nee a bigger sprite for player.Best size would be 24x24 pixels. Since AGD do not allow this, I've got an idea of combining two 16x24 sprites into one 32x24 sprite. But I have a small problem. I want secon sprite to follow first one at certain distance. I looked into doc file included in agd zip file, but I cannot find info on how can I get sprites x and y position. Is that even possible? If not, any other alternatives?
Thanks and Have A Good Day.

Don't think it's a good idea, because a big "Frankenstein" sprite would lose the smoothness, giving a flickering animation. AGD requires an amount of memory itself, so we have to work along with its limitations; despite that i think it's the greatest tool - today - capable to inspire original Spectrum mini-games!

Thanks for your reply. Despite of the potential problems, I would like to try to have a bigger sprite. I tried to have two sprites that have the same movement type, and it is quite smooth. But i need to "hook" one sprite to another. Also, I have another question: Can I somehow detect if my player character is on ground? I want to make one action in the game avaible only if player is standing on the ground(It is a platform game).
Any ideas?

Depending from each screen, you could either detect the specific X/Y position without ground, or trying to place an invisible block (not empty but a different detectable kind) over the missing ground...

Thanks for suggestion, I'll try it. I have another question. Is there any way to have a border for INV command? You know, a border around text.
