While having 16x24 sprites enabled, press L to load a scratchpad image in the sprite designer. If you select a part of the image, press 0 to copy it in memory, create a new sprite and press K again to paste the memorized graphics, when you exit from the sprite designer and press C in the main menu to enter the screen layout designer, the screen will be corrupted and the computer will freeze or reset if you try to return to the main menu or if you test the game.
If you load the scratchpad image first, then exit and re-enter the sprite designer, create a new sprite and copy and paste a part of it into the new sprite itself, the problem will not occur and you will be able to access and use the scratchpad normally.

That's a strange one. I'll take a look when I get a chance.

4.6 I thought it was a new 16x24 issue, but even 16x16 sprites get somewhat corrupted (some bits misplaced) when copy-pasted ("M", "K") into a new frame and mirrored vertically via "V" button. Weird, but double vertical mirroring restores the initial "good" image.

Version 4.7 still has a scratchpad bug (corrupted blocks and map, crashing) for 16x24 sprites.
