Hi,
Occasionally when I press X to test game, I hear a second or two of garbled sound. It doesn't happen all the time, haven't been able to reproduce it, but sometimes it does it, then I quit and test again straight away, and it doesn't do it. Last time it did it I had just been placing some blocks around in screen layouts. Thought I'd mention in case it's a bug or a known thing, if to worry or not..

I remember this issue being present since the 3.x version. As far as I can tell, it happens when you exit from the game testing phase with an AY sound still being played.
Just exit and restart the game to reset the AY audio. In case the AY doesn't stop and keeps playing a continuous note, testing one of the sounds in the sound designer window will usually help.

The same issue exists on the CPC version too. Something as simple as printing chr$(7) (bell sound and flushes the sounds) would stop it - this would actually be useful if you have it each time you display the menu.
