I think most of us are waiting on AGD5. Worth pointing out though, there are more AGD games announced from the Facebook group than are posted here, so it's worth checking that and signing up.

I am currently working at a new game which spans over three levels (128K only). You can read more here, there is also a downloadable demo to let you have an idea of things to come. By the way, I am not on facebook.

Looks cool Hallowedone, just a shame AGD doesn't have disintegrating blocks.

Not a big fan of JSW-family, GETBLOCK would do it but trivial, yet it seems quite easy to imitate disintegrating blocks, say, via invisible custom blocks and/or an animated sprite below the player, which gradually fades and invokes "DIG 2" (DOWN) event. It may be really daring with the permanent "Puzzle" specialization, if required.
I think it's 16pix+ and a bit clumsy collision what makes such games "not really for AGD", but when used properly, say, via an energy bar, with new features (how about LodeRunning or jumping enemies pushing blocks and digging holes or building bridges?), cute pixeling, and so on.
Cheers

Hey fellas. New to the forum and the AGD scene. I'm currently learning the system, but here's a pic of a my game I hope to flesh out to full release. Called 'FOGGY' not 'FROGGY' You are Foggy and critter from another dimension and you need to find your missing Starship, stolen by the NARGs. Cute platform adventure game hopefully :-) Hopefully its not too ambitious...

Wicked art style dethmunk! I'm loving the psychedelic walls, modular pipe blocks and that little pool of water. Great use of colour! One point: watch your memory usage! Placing many different block types next to eachother eats up memory. Rooms are encoded from left to right, top to bottom, based on block repetition. I managed to get away with a fair bit of detail but I had to dial it back in later rooms to compensate. Hey fellas. New to the forum and the AGD scene. I did finish the game and it looked very different to this WIP start. :-) I still managed to get a lot of detail in, I managed to squeeze in 28 screens in the end. :-)
