Hi to everyone. Ive just come across Jonathan s game maker and I must say that Im looking forward to using it. How about including maybe 1-4 separate palette combinations? With this idea in mind you could have say - palette 1 as the standard for all screens & sprites. But an option to choose one of the other user definable palettes would (per screen) give your game a more atmospheric look and feel. I was thinking along the lines of JSW on the CPC where different combinations of colours were used in different rooms. (Im not referring to the split screen mode - which is no doubt an impossibility with AGD)

The PC editor will have a PALETTE command so if you wanted to set colour 4 (for example) to a different ULAplus colour you'd use something like this (if memory serves)
RESTORE REPEAT SCREEN READ C ENDREPEAT PALETTE 4 C
DATA (table of RGB values for each screen)
