I don't know if it's supposed to do anything, but I notice the pressing 'x' when editing the charset causes Spin emulation to reset into 48k mode. This might be worth checking with other emulators and real Spectrums.

Thanks for that Mulder.
I found and fixed that bug this very afternoon. X shouldn't do anything in the character set editor, it was just a leftover from a bit of cut-and-paste code that should have been removed long ago. Rest assured it won't be in version 3.0.
