Although I grew up during the arcade and 8-bit era, I am in Canada, and didn't encounter much about the Spectrum or other UK computers back then. One friend had a Timex Sinclair, and I was vaguely aware Sinclair was from the UK, but that's about it. Thanks to the internet and YouTube channels I've since become a huge fan of the system, and although I've never used an actual physical model, I have discovered many great games through emulators.
Now, thanks to too much free time on my hands, some great YouTube tutorials (thanks Paul Jenkinson!), this really awesome tool (thanks Jonathan Cauldwell!), and an inspiring homebrew scene, I got it into my head that I wanted to create a game for the system. So I'm here to ask people with much more experience and knowledge than me for answers for what I hope aren't really dull questions.

p.s. Being from Canada, it makes me happy every time I type in COLOUR to AGD and not have it be an error (even the browser I'm typing this in right now is telling me it's spelled wrong. I know I could find the dictionary and change it, but after a lifetime of living under the tyranny of default US spellchecks, it's a nice that AGD spells it properly. )
