You're right... this should fix it: WinAGD.exe (172.13 KB) I've been thinking about adding options to the tools menu to convert graphics between formats. For now you'll have to copy and paste graphics from one format to another with the M and K keys (although you can't copy between the CPC and another format).

BTW, if anybody wants it, here's a UDL file for Notepad++ which you can import into the 'define your language' window. Save it as one of your languages, and when you have 'AGD' selected as the language, it will highlight the keywords etc. in garish colous (you can choose your own though). I made this very quickly the other night when I started to get seriously into converting a very old AGD 2.X project by hand. AGD.UDL (8.8 KB)

I've made more than a few improvements to the Windows editors over the past fortnight so thought I'd upload a new version for folks to play with before the next full release. Among the numerous improvements you might notice: Sprite and object previews Sprites can be flipped horizontally and vertically with the H and V keys Coordinates have been added to several editors New option to load a font Tools to convert Spectrum graphics to Timex, Amstrad and Atom Smart code templates generator for beginners (and also to get more experienced users up and running quickly) Right-click to undo on screen editor Blocks all laid out in a panel so they cdan be selected quickly in the screen editor WinAGD.exe (198.87 KB) I have a long list of other things I plan to include (AGD is a never-ending job) but let me know how you get on with these for now

I'll be giving this a go over the coming week.
I did send an email with some files as I had a corruption issue. It might be linked to a bug with object placement. If you place an object in a screen, it also places a block just behind it.

Anybody got any tips for compiling for the Amstrad and Timex? Amstrad, I've managed to compile something simple, but a more complicated project will compile, assemble (in Winape) but then just gives me a blank screen. Also, is the laser command available for the Amstrad? It won't 'fire' in my tests. See the attached WinAPE snapshot. Timex, I can compile, Spin will assemble, but when I try to run it in Fuse I get problems with screen data, see below. This appears to be the same no matter what project I try. Dear Johnathan This tool is great. I am going to use this instead of AGE 4.7.
I want you ask you the following things: 1) any chances to import games created with a Spectrum 128 in the future? 2) it is possible to add the helps in the editor screens. 3) I know that everything is documented but it is possible to make a small video that shows how to create a very very simple game and compile it? 4) about a 32 bit version?

Hi there, I am new to all versions of AGD and at the minute am trying with the version that runs inside of Fuse. If I understand this correctly, this version runs from inside windows to export to Fuse etc?
My main question being a Mac developer, will this be converted to run form the Mac?

I'll check the LASER command on the CPC. One problem I've fixed recently is the BORDER command which was causing a crash because it was still compiling Spectrum code. Ooops! As for Timex, try the TC2048 for now as that has been fairly well tested. The TS2068 is presently on the soon-to-fix list.
Creating 48K .SNA files can be fiddly so I may look at importing .TAP files at some point although that will probably create issues of its own as it might not work in 100% of cases. Help is something I might integrate into the program, for now I'm updating the documentation as I go along and going forward it will get better and become comprehensive.
This version runs in Windows 64 but will create games for Spectrum, CPC and TC2048. Sorry, there are no plans for a Mac version at present.
I'm still working on 0.7 but may tentatively upload a version here for people to have a play with, provide feedback and reports bugs prior to an official release.

Hi,
I'm working on version 0.6 (in a project initially for Amstrad) and so far I've encountered two one problems:
How can I edit the fonts by painting in black?
how do i modify the type of block? Ok. I've discovered that it's with the T key (you can put it in the "Help.odt" manual)

Hi again ... bugs: (v0.6 Amstrad) * If you select the joystick control option in the game, the controls are reversed: You try to move to the right the player moves to the left (same up/down) (Redefine keyboard works well ) * The Commands SCREENUP, SCREENDOWN, SCREENLEFT, SCREENRIGHT Not Working (EVENT Player)
