Hi guys)
Is it possible in AGD to draw just images, without SPRITEs, OBJECTs, or BLOCKs? Say, I want just to draw SPRITE A FRAME B and remove the sprite/object/block, leaving the image; doable? Perhaps, there's a simple way to draw an IMAGE only

You could consider to transofrm some characters (e.g. the lower case ones) into graphic blocks and print them as MESSAGES: the result will be graphics instead of text. Or you could call an external Assembly routine to print anything on the screen.

Luke, could you elaborate and explain what internal or external ASM one should use to draw a sprite/frame

NRA, could you please better explain your request: you need to draw a SPRITE or FRAME without using AGD SPRITES, OBJECT or BLOCKS?!... This really sounds meaningless.
So, an alternative to the above methods (SPRITES, OBJECTS or BLOCKS), could be the MESSAGE command. Or, having the needed knowledge, write an external Assembly routine to do anything the user could need.
The way you can use the MESSAGE command is well explained in the documentation, for the rest is just a matter of knowing how to include ASM into AGD... maybe it's a bit inappropriate to explain Assembly here.

Luke, perhaps you don't remember my question about persistent non-interactive 'transparent blocks', whereas this is a related question about temporary non-interactive 'dummy' images, which can be overwritten.
Besides the interface decoration or random textures, say, you have a "dead" animation FRAMES and prefer to mark the deadly place for a while, so it's not a problem when other sprites overwrite it. May be you remember some stars/sparkles and other non-interactive/non-animated stuff, which just fill the area, hinting and adding to the gameplay.
It's ok you can't see it useful--till you understand the purpose and the idea; however, I also don't see it useful to waste a couple of SPRITEs/OBJECTs just to draw some still non-interactive FRAMES/strokes--merely intended for overwriting

It's ok you can't see it useful ...maybe you misuntersdand the word "meaningless" with "unuseful" - I meant that using a tool like AGD, there's a syntax limitation. Deepening the Assembly is the top-level to which one can aspire, but I think this isn't the appropriate forum. The AGDX social page could be useful: www.facebook.com/groups/242260226489779/
