Sadly, this is not possible. The two engines are designed to do completely different things and neither has sufficient CPU time left to accommodate the tasks the other engine needs to do.
AGD does support ULAplus, so if you want to create Spectrum games which look a little different you could always change the palette in the editor. Anyone who played your game in an emulator with ULAplus enabled would see your new colour scheme.
Version 4 will enable you to colour sprites individually.
