Hi
Any chance someone could do a YouTube video on adding Beepola music to an MPAGD game?
Or even it could be cool if MPAGD had an option to load a Beepola tune and compile it to the end of a game?

I added an option to import third-party user ASM files such as Beepola tunes via the Tools menu a few days ago. Give me day or two and I'll put another release together so that you can play with it

Thanks! Sounds brilliant! I love how MPAGD keeps getting updated with amazing features! I've been advised maybe an AY tune would be better since it'd sound better and non-AY machines would just have Sound FX.

Now released.
I'll get around to recording a video about adding a Beepola tune at some point, it's pretty simple; you just need to remember to remove the top line from the .ASM file. After that I'll probably record a video explaining what adventure mode did on AGD and showing how to implement it on the Spectrum and Amstrad CPC

Hello!
Actually I tried following the instructions for incorporating the beepola .asm files in my ZX Spectrum game, yet every time i use the USER command to launch the music the game simply crashes.
I removed the "ORG" first line from the .asm file, yet I must be doing something wrong.
Any hint?

Hi. It should work (in MPAGD). - Make sure you have enough memory. - Compile song in Beepola using Assembly Listing. - Try to choose a different Beeper Engine.

Hello! Now it works, I was launching the USER command in the wrong place. Two more questions: - What if I want to load two or more songs? - How could I start and stop the music on command? Thanks in advance!

Pues aquí están los artículos: Beeper, Sound 101 y El chip prodigioso.
Integran en el MPAGD la música a través de Musicizer II, los efectos con AY Sound FX Editor, añade un cargador con marcadores, música Beeper con Beepola Editor, añade efectos beeper con Beep FX Editor y por supuesto usa el modo standard del MPAGD. Todo esto cambiando simplemente un código en el archivo build.bat que estará en la carpeta Suite ZX. Instalas el "MPAGD Sound Mod" que está disponible en el blog para aprender a usar todo esto con Pac-man.

Para que funcione tienes que descargar al menos el "Beeper Mod" o todo el "MPAGD Sound Mod" del blog de Pac-man ZX Spectrum. Los comandos a usar son: ; ------------------------------------------------------------- ; Beeper Music Routines ; n = 36 -> monitor , devuelve A=1 si la música está sonando y A=0 cuando termina la música. ; n = 64 -> comando: no regresa al game sin terminar la musica . ; n = 96 -> play next note ; n = 0 -> comando: deshabilita loop (loop activado por defecto) ; n > 100 -> efectos ; por ejemplo SOUND 103 -> ejecuta efecto 3 ; n > 0 -> selecciona canción ; por ejemplo SOUND 3 -> inicia música 3 ; ------------------------------------------------------------- Para más información visita el blog.
