Dear all, I intend to write a "proper" and "original" game since I came across AGD about a month ago. To learn how to use AGD and its features I decided to see how close a game I could get it manic miner for a few screens. Its not finished and at the moment its too difficult. Things to note: a) it is set to collecting 2 objects to move to the next screen (you have to exit the screen in the same way as miner willy) b) the first screen is way too difficult for the jumps to "easily" clear some objects so on the first screen you have infinite lives at the moment. c) There is also a hunchback screen (not finished yet) and a pacman type screen (not finished yet). There are 3 "manic miner screens". d) I intend to add a routine to kill "miner willy" if he has fallen too far. e) I wonder how to get animated coloured sprites? Any comments gratefully recieved! Also I have no idea how to produce platforms which slowly disappear. I could use digdown but that would just remove blocks...

d) in step check IF FALL ADD 1 TO F ELSE IF F>20 KILL LET F 0 ENDIF
e) it's not possible to do it directly atm (use "colour/attribute overwriting") , but Jonathan promised to colour sprites in the new version;
f) to simulate slowly disappearing platforms you can sacrifice a few sprites which animate while standing upon and trigger DIGDOWN at the end of animation or even re-appears (FILLUP/DOWN).

Thanks for the reply.
d) where do you suggest I put the code? I have tried this but doesn't quite work out as when you jump it generates a large number for f comapred to when you fall from a great height.
Any ideas?
