Hello everyone, I just released my first, quick game with MPAGD but only afterwards have realised some strange behaviour that doesn't seem to be in other peoples games. Using some emulators and with a DIVMMC on my real +2A, sometimes the sprites are bright. It seems like there are certain columns (maybe lines) on each screen that produce this effect. I have double checked the blocks used and they are all the same bright or not bright colours. Does anyone know why this is? Have I missed something or done so mething silly?
Thanks for any help

Your game is super!
make sure you have sprite link n at the beginning of all your sprites.

Thanks 😁 code definitely needs to be better but I'll get there! (And graphics, and music haha)
Aah so it's just because no spriteink at the start of the events? That makes sense.
I think I have some at the bottom and some are both top and bottom.
Thanks ramon, I'll give it a try. And thanks for the sound mod! (Credited you on the itch page🙂)

Sorry for the double post.
I've had a look and for the player I already had SPRITEINK at the very top. I also tried shuffling things around.
It does looks like in these screenshots that it is the screen itself.
With this emulator you can see some dark lines across large areas and across the spiders & mushrooms etc.
Maybe it is just the emulators in use? As I can't think of a reason for it.

Really stumped.
I don't mind too much as it's a first, test game but I don't see this on other projects and worried for future games myself.
Edit:
Okay, it seems like it was the default emptyblock was set to bright. Setting this as not bright has stopped the player sprite from alternating however they are always bright off and look a bit dark but at least I know the reason.
So guess the background emptyblocks were conflicting with other blocks etc.

Me encantan tus gráficos. Vas por buen camino revisando los gráficos. Buen trabajo.

¡Muchas gracias! Sí, creo que cometí un error de principiante y tenía bloques brillantes y no brillantes que afectaban a los sprites. (traducción automática, disculpas si es malo)
