Hi,
I'd like to have a play with SEUD and give JC some well deserved quids as thanks for the excellent AGD.
I've found it up on Chronosoft but I want to purchase the .tap, I emailed the guys weeks ago but no response.
Any ideas? Jon, if you are willing to email me the .tap I can add a donation via PayPal or something first perhaps.

I too wanted to give Jonathan some well deserved cash so I bought the cassette from Chronosoft and created a .tap file from that.

I also emailed Simon weeks ago several times but got no response. I hope everything's alright with him.
Back to topic, I purchased the .TAP version as a digital download three years ago, but so far the only real product I authored with it is the second chapter of Cousin Horace.

Hi,
I placed an order and the tapes arrived yesterday - so things seem ok perhaps the email address is old.
Loaded the SEUD cassette via line-in to Spectaculator then saved out a .szx, all working. SEUD is interesting so far, it seems to have some quirks which I spent some time reading about on the WOS forums. Still, looks like enough to make a shooter.
I wonder if you can do background music on SEUD games?

According to the user manual: This could mean that you could insert a CALL instruction pointing to the music starter routine, but since sound FX are AY only, they will interfere with music. Had I enough time on my hands (which is not the case these days, alas) I could try experimenting with this myself...

It seems only 1 sound is workable with SEUD, if that is always on the same channel the music could be composed with that in mind, loosing a channel in the music is not ideal but it might make for better SEUD audio overall. Perhaps I should get this working with AGD first then move to this Cheers, LW.
