Hi all:
I am starting a new project for my dear Spectrum. The problem is that after several days, the AGD 4.7 has started to give errors with the texts, sprites ..., so I opted to use the MPAGD 0.7.10, but practically the same thing has happened.
Can there be some problem in the AGD with 24 sprites or saving the game in Z80 format with the Speccy? I have no idea why there are so many errors. Years ago I created a simple game with the AGD 4.6 and everything is fine. Any other engine that I can use? Thank you and sorry for my english.

Both tools support a maximum of 12 sprites on screen at any time. In theory MPAGD's engine could be modded to support 24 but that would slow the action down to 12.5 frames per second. The simple fact is that 24 16x16 sprites is ambitious for the Spectrum's hardware; you'd be better off coding a bespoke engine rather than using a generic one.

Sorry, I meant that I use 24 pixel sprites. Now I make a copy every day, and if I get an bug, I don't lose all my work.
