Hello, I wanted to know what consumes less memory, 4
8x8 blocks or a 16x16 sprite?

A block uses 8 bytes for the image, 1 byte for the colour and 1 byte for the type.
A sprite uses 4 x 32 bytes for the images because shifted images are also stored (0, 2, 4 and 6 pixels shifted).
