Hi, just a recap about some cool AGD features i'd like to get...
-1- OBJECTS restoring:
could help to draw less object sprites if few of them can reappear in their original room;
-2- BLOCK types, more tests for contact:
currently we can use "DEADLY" and "CUSTOM" functions to test for contact. The possibility to extend the same function to "EMPTY SPACE" and "SOLID WALL" could help a lot... for example:
having respawning enemies on screen and testing the free space where they can appear just like "IF EMPTY ... SPAWN" instead of "IF CANGORIGHT/IF CANGOLEFT/IF CANGOUP/IF CANGODOWN.... SPAWN";
-3- VARIABLES to apply in commands as their parameters:
currently we can give a command like "SPAWN 2 4" (where numeric parameters define type/image)... but if we use variables (example "SPAWN 2 PARAMA" or "SPAWN 2 RND"), it doesn't work... so we have to write more code and include more SPAWNs commands inside IF/ENDIF conditionals.
