I don't think it's available yet, unfortunately - dying to get stuck into that. I think that Jonathan has some users testing it, but really you'd have to ask him directly if you can try it.

Are there any links to previous versions that we would be able to have a play with before the new version is released ? all the links I have tried are down.

oh right...so...forgive my ignorance....so how are people currently developing the games? I assumed there was a tool like the TommyGun editor for AGD that people are using..i guess this isnt the case?

AGD games can be perfectly developed through PC emulators, using the latest 4.6 release. The official AGD releases page is this one, along with the Facebook forum: www.facebook.com/groups/785775881484393/...the author has to update the releases links here, we'll report the problem; just consider that Jonathan is involved in a brand new AGD version for the upcoming ZX Spectrum Next. Anxiety urges, Gosh!
If it about a PC version, then how about attaching some EXE loader (player), which could emulate Speccy? Some DOS emulator 'compiled' it to EXE file no prob.
