Dear Jonathan
I "discovered" AGD few months ago.
Let me say that AGD is great, and it is such a wonderful tool that it can let ZX Spectrum and CPC to have a second life. From my point of view (as a '80 game maker dreamer) AGD needs to exit from its "shell" and pass to windows/linux.
I have been using AGD for a while, designing sprites, maps, objects and enjoying myself as i didn't since i was a teen, but i never finished a game yet.
The reason is simple. I do not use AGD because i want to design a game using a ZX Spectrum. I just use AGD because i would like to design a game that runs on a real ZX Spectrum.
So , here comes the question: There will be a windows/linux version? If "yes" , when?
Thanks again for you incredible work.
Ciao

Thanks for your comments.
Yes, there's a PC editor version on the way. I've written the engine, compiler and code templates, Dunny is doing the rest.
There's a language reference for the forthcoming version on the AGD Facebook page. There might even still be a link for a download if you want to test some of the editors - although you won't be able to create a game with them.
Hopefully it won't be too long before the PC editor version is finished. Until then you'll have to make do with the Spectrum and CPC versions which are occasionally updated.
I'm also planning a version for the Spectrum Next.

I'm looking forward to coding on the Spectrum Next with AGD. I can't think of a better combination

Dear Jonathan
thanks for the great news. For what concern the editors, yes, i'd like to test them. I'd like to download them.
