Hello!
Is there a way to export my game's script from AGD 4.7 so I can read it in a text editor? It's quite long now and sometimes I'm struggling to follow my own code.
Thank you in advance.

1. Save your game as an emulator tap file 2. Reset your emulator and select 48K BASIC 3. Type CLEAR 29999 then LOAD ""CODE to load your game into memory 4. Save a 48K emulator snapshot 5. Load your snapshot into MPAGD 0.7.2 and view/edit the events

Dear Jonathan,
thank you very much for your hint. I followed the steps, launched MPAGD 0.7.2 then: File / Import game from snapshot
Sprites, Blocks, Screens, etc. everything is there. But as I try e.g.
Events / Player
it pops up Windows Notepad with just the text "EVENT PLAYER". The same for all other events.
I might be missing something.

Hi kempston,
you must put the snapshot file into the same directory as MPAGD, the one where the WINAGD.EXE file is.

Hi Kempston
AGDx support script copy to clipboard via the RS232 port. To use it you need to use Spectaculator, go to tools->options->communications port. Set the communications port to output to clipboard. Then when editing a script simply press ctrl-S and your script will be in the windows clipboard ready to be copied to notepad.

Hi Highrise... with Spectaculator it's SHIFT-S instead of CTRL-S, it works perfectly, thanks!

I forgot to mention, One of the major advantages MPAGD has over AGD is that comments are allowed. Anything written after a semi-colon is ignored until the next line and it really does help you follow your code when it gets a bit complicated

Luca, you can choose either CTRL of SHIFT to represent SYMBOL-SHIFT, so it's actually symbol-shift-S
