After a lot of work, I finally came up with a workable system that provides real sprite masking for AGDx. This means that sprites pass over the background and are not affected by it, nor will they affect it. It also allows you to build 'shaped' masks that fit the shape of the sprite.
There are a number of different versions available, all documented in the zip. You can install it via a patch.
Hi, unfortunately the code does not work with that version. Once I come back to the main menu after creating space in memory, and turning pointers back to off, a row of question marks appear beside the "Test" item, and the screen gets filled with them, possibly a memory overflow and/or mismatch.
Could you please share the most recent version here for those of us who prefer not to use Facebook? Thanks.
