I would avoid wasting precious AGD memory on an intro screen if I were you. Menus etc. are best done outside of AGD.
Anyway - try inserting a CLS command at the beginning of the intro script in order to clear the screen.

I should have mentioned which version I'm using which is the AGDx 7.
I've already tried CLS but it doesn't work, it seems to be the REDRAW command that's causing the issue. What do you mean by 'outside of AGD'? Thanks

I would imagine outside means do it yourself via assembly, or use a third party patch.

Thanks for the reply, I'm still very new to all this! I know virtually nothing about assembly so that's not really an option. Creating the intro menu with script is working fine so I'll just go with that for now.
