AGDx keeps crashing with an out of memory error but I appear to have about 11k left.

Which version are you using AndyJF? My backup files here show down to 11050 bytes with Lb and 6809 with Ke, without any problem.

I was using agd4.7X4G but I loaded it into 4Ja and I'm down to 10k now without any problems (so far). When you say you can get down to 6809 does that mean that not all the memory is usable?

No, just that I had 6809 bytes free on that snapshot.

ok thank you, I'm still finding it a little confusing as to which version is best to use.

The most recent one I used in an actual project was Ke. You can download it from here.

Still using version Ja. I'm down to just under 4k free now and getting the occasional out of memory crash. Is this normal? Thanks

Hi Andy, cannot really say. I did not experience any crashes with the AGDX versions I used until now for real projects, i.e. not for testing purposes, but it is true that those versions were much more recent than the ones you are using. Therefore I guess the memory instability problem, if there was one, was fixed in later versions.
