I've written up my HUD code using READ, DATA, CHR and COLOUR (and redefining the font) for creating attractive interactive Head Up Displays for your MPAGD games, here's the tute: www.minilopretro.com/post/the-super-efficient-hudNote to Mr CauLdwell....it would be super useful if the font editor also displayed the CHR number when editing it...save me from counting!!

Nice reading about the perils of PUTBLOCK when "adventure mode" is active ;-) Using DATA & READ can save you from a lot of hassle, even to add huge bosses,...this time using PUTBLOCK or course :-)
